Indian Railways Passengers Alert: Trains to be diverted on South-Western Railway and Eastern Railway routes from Feb 22

Beginning February 22, the Railways would operate several trains via diverted routes due to traffic block being implemented by South-Western Railway (SWR) and Eastern Railway. Passengers are advised to take note of the diversions before traveling in trains on these routes to avoid inconvenience.

Traffic block is being taken by South Western Railway and Eastern Railway from 22nd February. Due to this block, the movement of many trains will be affected. Due to this traffic block, it has been decided by the Railways to operate many trains from the diverted route. Check the complete running schedule so that they do not have to face any problem.

According to Deepak Kumar, Chief Public Relations Officer of Northern Railway, the route of 16229 Mysore-Varanasi Express, which started its journey on February 22, has been diverted. This train will travel via Yesvantpur-Dharmavaram-Guntakal-Bellary. This train will not stop at Tumkur, Arisker, Kadur and Chitradurga stations.

Another train, 12629 Yesvantpur-Hazrat Nizamuddin Express, which leaves Yesvantpur on Feb 22 will travel via Chikk Banawar, Nelamangal, Shravanvel Gola, Hassan City, Ariskere. This train will not stop at Tumkur station.

Simultaneously, 12381 Howrah-New Delhi Poorva Express, leaving Howrah on February 27, will travel via Dhanbad-Katrasgarh-Chandrapura-Gomoh, while 13152 Jammu-Kolkata Express starting on February 25 and 26 and the 12354 Lalkua-Howrah Express Barasta will go via Gomoh-Chandrapura-Katrasgarh-Dhanbad, the Railways said.
