Telangana Haritha Haram chief Rakesh Mohan Dobriyal is new PCCF
Dobriyal took charge as Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) following the retirement of R. Sobha on Monday
Senior IFS officer Rakesh Mohan Dobriyal took charge as Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) following the retirement of R. Sobha on Monday. Dobriyal worked as the nodal officer for the state government’s afforestation programme ‘Telanganaku Haritaharam’ in the last six years. He has been given the additional charge of being the new head of the Telangana forest department.
Officials said that Dobriyal’s afforestation project played a major role along with his seniority to land the top position.
The government also passed orders appointing Sobha as government adviser (forest affairs) for two years.
